WILL FERTILITY COUNSELING HELP ME GET PREGNANT?
While counseling itself does not help you get pregnant…it does however help to reduce stress levels by providing clarity of mind, a safe space to process emotions and excellent practice of SELF-CARE!
DO I HAVE TO BE ACTIVELY IN TREATMENT OR HAVE A REPRODUCTIVE ENDOCRINOLOGIST TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR COUNSELING?
Absolutely not! Infertility exists if you have been trying to conceive for a minimum of 12 months with no success. This alone would make you eligible for counseling…you can also still get counseling if you have vowed that you are stopping any and all fertility treatments FOREVER but you just need help coping with your decision to either continue to try naturally or live childfree!
WILL FERTILITY COUNSELING BENEFIT ME IF I HAVE DECIDED TO PURSUE PARENTHOOD THROUGH ADOPTION, FOSTERING OR SURROGACY??
Absolutely! The benefits above apply to all paths to parenthood…no matter how you get there.
I HAVE DECIDED TO LIVE CHILD FREE, CAN I STILL RECIEVE COUNSELING TO HELP ME COPE WITH MY DECISION?
Absolutely. Living child free is a path on the journey you can choose... just like pursuing adoption or surrogacy. This is a judgement free zone that allows freedom to pursue as many different options as you like…and yes…you are also allowed to change your mind…about your options that is!
I AM SINGLE AND STILL WANT TO PURSUE PARENTHOOD THROUGH A DONOR, WILL COUNSELING BENEFIT ME?
You bet! What society considers "non-traditional" may be perfect for you. However the stigma attached to making a choice that is best for you regardless of cultural or social expectations can be intimidating. At FGCW, we empower you to make choices that fit your preferences and lifestyle to ultimately achieve your dream.
WHAT ARE CONCIERGE FERTILITY SUPPORT SERVICES?
Concierge Fertility Support Services are personalized services that go above and beyond the traditional "in office only" therapeutic relationship. This service includes, home visits/sessions; an appointment companion so that you don't ever have to attend an appointment alone; pre/post treatment/procedure consultations to help you mentally prepare and family therapy sessions. Any other customized support services needed can be discussed however will be evaluated to ensure ethics and codes of conduct are met.
HOW DO I KNOW IF FERTILE GROUND COUNSELING & WELLNESS IS A GOOD FIT FOR ME & MY JOURNEY?
All new and prospective clients are eligible for a FREE 15 phone consultation. We offer this FREE service to ensure a "good-fit" for client and clinician. At FGCW, we believe in the importance of investing in your mental health. We take all inquiries seriously, responding to consultation requests within 24-48 hours. If we can't help you, we will refer you to an agency that can!
